Want to get your website ranked on the web? You are in the right place. If you are new to the web or want to tweak your present marketing plan, we are here to help you.
Subscribe to our newsletter, attend a seminar or let us coach you. We want to teach you how to make your website the most powerful marketing tool you’ve ever had.
So let’s get started.
There are 5 steps to any basic marketing plan:
- Website
- Local Search
- SEO
- Review Sites
- Online Reputation
Notice that social media was not listed. We can add that later, but only after the first five have been implemented. Social media is terrific, when the time is right for you and you have your website up and running.
Starting social media before the website is complete is a mistake.
Your Website
At the center of your digital world is your website. Click-through ads, social media, newsletters, etc. can only be successful after your website is up and running.
Eventually, anyone interested in our goods or services will search for a website…and if they can’t find one, or even worse, they find an old stale website, you just lost your customer.
So, step 1: Start or update your website.
Search Engine Optimization
The key to getting your website ranked will be the quality and relevance of your content. Nothing else matters. Your content is the key to achieving and maintaining high rankings.
Both your webpages (the articles and posts) and your website must be optimized so that the search engines can rank your content correctly.
Whether through our coaching services or through our seminars, we can show you the tools you need to successfully get ranked…and highly.
Online Reputation
What are your customers saying about you?
By just having a business, you’ve got a reputation to monitor. Your customers, members and patients create your online reputation…not you.
We’ll show you how to monitor and maintain your online reputation to reflect the quality of your business. Most of the time, this can be done automatically…and for free.
Local Search
Make sure your business gets listed when your customers are looking for your goods and services. There are dozens of directories already listing your business, but your address and contact information may not be correct.
Make sure the information the contain; however, is correct. We can help you or show you how to claim and correct these listings.
Online Reviews
This doesn’t have to be nasty. Greater than 90% of reviews are written by happy customers, but even the “good” reviews deserve a response from you.
Many of these sites; Yelp, Google +, Facebook, Angie’s List, etc also solicit online reviews about your business. Too often, reviews are ignored, both good and bad. Stale reviews leave a stale impression to your next customer.
Give the good reviewers a “thank you” and neutralize the ugly reviews. Negative online reviews can actually be turned into a good thing!
Social Media: Facebook, Google +
It has been my experience that people asking for “Likes” on Facebook have no idea how this bolsters their marketing plan. Seems like it’s the thing to do, right?
When you are ready, using social media as a communication and marketing tool can be very, very successful. The easiest way to engage your next customer is to distribute your latest posts from your website.
Remember, your website must provide valuable information to your readers. Social media is a great way to share this valuable information.
Your site can automatically post to your social media platform(s) of choice…there’s no added work to sharing your great content.
Social media allows you to engage with your audience; to build a following and grow your customer list. Provide valuable content, engage by answering comments and increase your “Likes.”
But with Kiwi Splash, you’ll know why you are asking!
